Please note that the Embassy of Greece in Nur-Sultan and the VACs in Kazakhstan bear no responsibility for any cancellation, modification or alteration regarding the details of your trip to Greece under the current COVID-19 circumstances. The issuance of a visa and its validity, if granted, is under the exclusive prerogative of the Consulate and it is not a guarantee that the trip will take place. In case the trip will not take place during the validity of the visa granted, all fees are non-refundable and applicants are kindly requested to apply for a new visa. Please also note that any person entering Greece might be subject to a number of restrictions (test, quarantine etc.) upon their arrival. Kindly be informed that the Visa Application Centers for Greece in Almaty and in Nur-Sultan are operational from 09:00 until 12:00 only accepting applicants that have booked an appointment online. You should book your appointment here.
The VACs for Greece will accept visa applications, provided that no further notice on the extension of the entry ban to Greece be issued in the meantime. All individuals who wish to travel to Greece must consult the following link travel.gov.gr and follow the required rules.
Following guidelines and best practices recommended by health and government authorities, in order to minimise any extra health related risks, applicants are strongly advised to use our courier service for the return of their passport. If you need to collect your passport at the VAC you must first book an appointment by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
